Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 2026 · Last updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Double Boo ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you play any of our mobile games (collectively, "our games"). By installing or using our games, you agree to the practices described here.
If you do not agree, please uninstall the game and contact us to request deletion of any data we may hold about you.
1. Who we are
Double Boo publishes the mobile games covered by this policy. Contact us at privacy@boo-games.com for any privacy-related questions, access requests, or deletion requests.
2. Information we collect
We collect a limited set of information automatically when you play our games. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, photos, contacts, or any other directly identifying information inside the game.
2.1 Information collected automatically
- Device identifiers. A resettable Advertising ID provided by Google Play Services, and a Firebase Installation ID used to distinguish installations for analytics and crash reporting.
- Device and technical information. Device model, operating system version, system language, screen resolution, available memory, country (derived from IP address), and mobile network type.
- IP address. Collected temporarily by our service providers to deliver ads, monitor abuse, and compute approximate country-level location. We do not store IP addresses ourselves.
- App usage and gameplay events. Screens visited, buttons tapped, levels started and completed, scores, streaks, time spent per session, and similar in-game events. We use this to improve game balance and diagnose bugs.
- Crash reports and diagnostics. Stack traces, breadcrumbs, and device state at the moment of a crash. These help us fix bugs.
- Purchase history. When you make an in-app purchase, Google Play provides us with a purchase token that we use to unlock the purchased item and to validate the purchase. We do not receive your credit card number, billing address, or any payment details.
- Ad interaction data. Whether an ad was shown, whether it was clicked, whether a rewarded ad was completed, and basic metadata provided by the ad network. This is used for ad targeting (when permitted) and for measuring ad performance.
2.2 Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
- We do not access your photos, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, or call history.
- We do not collect precise (GPS-level) location. Ad networks may infer approximate country or city from your IP address.
- We do not collect biometric data.
- We do not use tracking pixels, web beacons, or browser cookies (our games are not web apps).
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate our games — load your saved progress, sync settings, honor in-app purchases.
- Improve our games — understand which features are used, which levels are too hard, and where players drop off.
- Fix crashes and bugs — diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
- Show ads — deliver relevant ads through our ad partner (AppLovin MAX) and measure their performance. You can manage ad personalization via your device's "Reset Advertising ID" and "Opt out of Ads Personalization" settings, or via our in-game consent screen (EEA/UK users).
- Prevent abuse and fraud — detect automated traffic, invalid installs, and tampered clients.
- Comply with our legal obligations — responding to lawful requests and enforcing our terms.
Legal basis (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interest — for analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention, and non-personalized advertising.
- Consent — for personalized advertising. When you first launch one of our games in the EEA or UK, we show a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent screen where you can accept or reject personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time from the game's settings menu.
- Contract performance — for processing in-app purchases.
4. Third parties we share information with
We use the following third-party services to operate our games. Each service has its own privacy policy, linked below.

| Google Firebase Remote Config | Live balance tuning | Device info, app version (no personal data) | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |

| Google Play Services | App distribution, in-app purchases, Play Reviews | Advertising ID, purchase tokens, install referrer | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) | GDPR/consent management | Consent choices | policies.google.com/privacy |
We may share information with law enforcement or other authorities if we believe in good faith that the law requires us to do so.
5. How long we keep your information
- Analytics events. Retained by Firebase for up to 14 months by default (Google-managed).
- Crash reports. Retained by Firebase for up to 90 days by default.
- Purchase records. Retained for the lifetime of your account on Google Play, per Google's policy.
- Local save data. Stored on your device only; deleted when you uninstall the game or clear app data.
We do not run our own servers that store personal information about you. Any retention is performed by the third parties listed above, subject to their policies.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your information.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Restriction — ask us to restrict processing.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent — change your ad consent choice at any time in the game's settings menu.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@boo-games.com. We will respond within 30 days. For most rights, we will ask you to identify the device and approximate install date so we can locate any data associated with your installation in our analytics providers.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your California rights, email privacy@boo-games.com with "California privacy request" in the subject line.
7. Children's privacy
Our games are rated for general audiences and are not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@boo-games.com and we will delete the information associated with that installation.
8. International transfers
Because we use service providers based in the United States (Google, AppLovin), your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries with different data protection laws than your own. These transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses and the service providers' own safeguards.
9. Security
We rely on industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and on the security of our third-party service providers. We do not run our own servers that store personal information. While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to protect the information we process.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" at the top and, if the changes are material, post a notice on this page. Continued use of our games after changes means you accept the updated policy.
